According to Stuart Ross, Managing Director of Gamestec Leisure, gaming companies have in their hands the future of pubs accross the United Kingdom. Gamestec Leisure is one of the most important gaming services companies in the country and provides services to 40,000 gaming venues, including several pubs.
“Companies like Gamestec must play their part in regenerating the pub trade,” Ross commented. “We are actively looking at how we can work with our customers to open up new revenue streams, increase pub footfall and maximise the cashbox takings of SWP and AWP machines.”
According to a report developed by the CGA Startegy/ British Beer & Pub Association, alcohol sales in pubs have decreased about six per cent in the past year. Ross said that from nine months, Gamestec has been working on a business transformation program to improve its infrastructure and offer a more efficient service to its customers.
